June has arrived, and with it comes so many exciting events likes weddings, reunions, anniversaries, concerts, festivals and much much more. At Casa Grande Inn, we love weddings! The rose garden across the street hosts many weddings over the summer, and of course it’s a spectacular place to have your wedding photos taken. We often sit on our patio and admire all the beautiful brides and the wedding parties as they carry on with their special day. Our location makes Casa Grande Inn the perfect place to stay for weddings. We have a very private room called the Siesta Room that is perfect for the bride and groom as it is outside of the main Bed and Breakfast. Then we have 5 other rooms available for members of the wedding party, family and friends. We have a few very large patios where all the guests can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and mingle. If the weather isn’t nice our common living room is another great place to visit. Plus the Historic SS Sicamous is also right across the street, and it also hosts many events, fundraisers and weddings.
June is also the month when we start to see more and more classics on the road. Penticton is full of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. They are so gorgeous! We love to sit on the front lakeview patio and watch all the vehicles cruise by. Especially when the classics are out, which is almost every day! Besides the weather, another reason classics are so popular in Penticton is because of a fantastic classic car festival called the Peach City Beach Cruise. It’s June 22 – 24 this year, and falls on the same weekend as the Penticton Elvis Festival! This weekend will be rocking with live music, Elvis tribute artists, and cool classics. This year’s headliner at the Penticton Elvis Fest is Gino Monopoli. He is an amazing Elvis Tribute Artist, make sure you get tickets to see his Saturday night show at the PTCC (Penticton Trade & Convention Centre) He has stayed at Casa Grande Inn many times, and we have unofficially renamed the Hideaway after him! (at his request)
June is also the perfect month to go on a wine tour. The botteling is done and the new releases are out. Many wines are limited production, and sell out early summer. So by wine touring now, you have an opportunity to sample and purchase many of these sell outs, before they sell out.
Like to bike ride? Bring your bike on vacation to Casa Grande Inn. We offer bike lock up on the garage, so you don’t have to keep it on your vehicle! You can even go on bike ride wine tours! We are located so close to so many fantastic trails, and some of these trails are located along side a few wineries.

The NEW Siesta Room is a New Favourite at Casa Grande Inn, Penticton’s ONLY B&B across from Okanagan Beach on Lakeshore Drive! Follow your private stairway, to your private patio, where you can enjoy both sun and shade. Sit at the bistro table, or lounge in the reclining loungers. Inside the siesta room, you are greeted with a super comfy king size bed, flat screen tv, real hardwood floors, a sitting area with a table, plus a cozy chair, a large closet, a full bathroom and a lake view from the window! This room has it’s own AC unit, and we’ve even supplied snuggly bathrobes!
